Peoples’ Saga – Gandhada Gudi – An Adventure Retreat.

Gandhada Gudi, a complete adventure club-oriented theme retreat, offers all a great liberty to announce themselves and further flourish.

The Adventure Club is an opportunity for all to lead their own adventures, challenge themselves to try something new, and push their boundaries. People who participate can earn the Adventure Club Patch.

We are dedicated to creating achievers who are Go-Getters, Innovators, Risk-Takers, and Leaders. Through outdoor adventure, all are allowed to take risks, become their own leaders, and learn about themselves, each other, and their world in new and exciting ways.

The Adventure Club continues the affiliates tradition of outdoor experiences and skill exploration which allow everyone the opportunity to:

  • Try new activities or sports that encourage an active lifestyle.
  • Be challenged to grow in new ways and become better problem solvers.
  • Unplug from screens and social media – and know that it’s ok to take a break.
  • Develop leadership skills and become team players.
  • Have fun exploring and building social bonds within a safe space for one and all.

Hiking

involves a long energetic walk in a natural environment on hiking trails or footpaths for a day or overnight.

Trekking

involves a long vigorous hike in a wild natural environment for multiple days. It can be done off hiking trails.

Camping / Tenting

recreational activity in which participants take up temporary residence in the outdoors, usually using tents or specially designed or adapted vehicles for shelter.

Rock Climbing

the technique and sport of climbing on steep rock faces, usually with ropes and other equipment and as part of a team or pair – Rock Climbing

Cycling/ Biking

Recreational sport engaged in biking or cycling on mountain tops and in zig zag roads of Chikmagalur, Karnataka and India.

River Rafting

A recreational outdoor activity is often done on a different degree of water using an inflatable raft navigating through the river bodies.

Parasailing

A partial water sport that’s controlled by a manual anchor of a car, truck or boat where a person is towed behind a vehicle while attached to a specially designed canopy wing that resembles a parachute.

Jetski Ride

A small jet-propelled vehicle that skims across the surface of the water and typically is ridden like a motorcycle.

Wildlife Safari

provide drive-thru services to the people who want to go to the wild side for observing and capturing all creatures in their natural habitats on camera.

Kayaking

The sport or activity of paddling a kayak.

Zorbing

The sport of rolling downhill inside an orb, typically made of a transparent plastic ball.

Bungee Jumping

Involves a person jumping from a great height while connected to a large elastic cord.

Ziplining

An action-filled fun activity sliding down a zip line across the trees, generally on a valley that exhibits spectacular sceneries.

Rappelling

To descend (as from a cliff) by sliding down a rope passed under one thigh, across the body, and over the opposite shoulder or through a special friction device.

Jumaring

Jumaring is the technique climbers use to ascend a rope. It requires two ascending devices (One for each hand), and two nylon ladders, called “aiders,” for the feet.

Army Obstacle Course.

The military/Army obstacle course is used (mostly in recruit training) as a way to familiarize recruits with the kind of tactical movement they will use in combat, as well as for physical training, building teamwork, and evaluating problem-solving skills.
